Gold and Silver Divisions
The Summer Volleyball league is a time for you to get your High School Volleyball season off to a great start. The Summer League will have 2 levels of Competition, Varsity and Junior Varsity leagues. The Gold Division is for the teams that know they will be playing in the league playoffs. The Silver Division is for teams hoping to make the league playoffs.
The Varsity Summer League will start on Tuesday July 5th and run for 4 weeks until Tuesday July 26th. Each team will play 2 matches on Tuesdays of each week. Games will begin at 6:15p, approx 7:30 and 8:30pm. Teams will play 2 matches and Ref 1.
The Junior Varsity Summer League will start on Wednesday July 6th and run for 4 weeks until Wednesday July 27th. Each team will play 2 matches on Mondays of each week. Games will begin at 6:15p, approx 7:30 and 8:30pm.
All matches will be 2/3 sets to 25pts and the third game will be to 15pts.
General Information
Uniforms- Will not be required, but a jersey with a number on it is strongly suggested.
Officials– Each team will have to officiate one match per night. This means an up official, 2nd official, scorekeeper and lines persons. Officials must bring their own whistles.
Scorekeeping– Flipcards will be used as the official score.
Libero– The Libero will be used and must have a unique uniform.
Warm-ups– The team that was not playing will have 10 minutes warm-up between matches.
Registration Fees
Team registration Fees will be $170.00 if received before June 23rd. This means that it is less than $1/match/player. Late or as room allows registration will be $199 We ask that this be in one check and be accompanied with a completed Team Registration Form. Upon receiving your Registration form your captains will be notified of your acceptance and a schedule and Waiver form will be sent out one week before the Summer League begins.
Filling out this form will hold your teams spot for 1 week. Payment and Registration Form must be recieved before registration is confirmed
